Rajiv Misra specializes in Production, Operation & Decision Sciences, and is currently a Professor at XLRI, Jamshedpur. Professor Misra is a Mechanical Engineer from IIT Roorkee and an MS from SUNY, Buffalo, USA. He joined academics after a long stint in the industry, lastly at the TATA group. He has been associated with leading Indian business groups like TATAs, Murugappa and L&T. Professor Misra also nurtures start-ups and is currently on the advisory board of Yellow Giraffe, an online toy store in India.
