Chandrika Raghavendra is a PhD holder on Cross-Border Mergers and Acquisitions from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and an FDP from IIM Ahmedabad.

She has more than 10 years of teaching experience at the postgraduate level, having taught various economics and finance courses including managerial economics, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, financial derivatives, financial markets, banking practices, and econometrics. She is interested in teaching core courses such as Macro Economics, International Economics, International Business, and Mergers and Acquisitions. She has acted as a coordinator for various institutional-level committees and associations including the women empowerment committee, alumni association, and cultural committee in her previous institution. She was invited twice as a guest lecturer to give a lecture on women empowerment and IPR at VBS Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Her research interests lie in the area of mergers and acquisitions, sustainable development, and environmental, social and governance practices of corporations. In particular, she holds a special interest in stakeholder theory and she is fascinated to explore how stakeholder perspective persuades corporate behaviour. These research interests have taken a shape into research papers, some are under review and a few more are in the process of construction and submission to reputed peer-reviewed academic journals. She has presented her research papers at various national and international conferences. She is also a reviewer of Journal of International Management (ABDC - A and Scopus-Q1), Applied Economics Letters (ABDC - B and Scopus Q2) and Humanities and Social Sciences Communication (Scopus-Q1).
