Dr. Antony Paulraj holds the Globalisation Professorship in Supply Chain Management at the Department of Entrepreneurship and Relationship Management, University of Southern Denmark, Kolding, Denmark where he teaches postgraduate and doctoral courses in Operations and Supply Chain Management. Prior to joining the University of Southern Denmark, he was a faculty at the Coggin College of Business, University of North Florida, Jacksonville, Florida, USA.

He received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Madras and his Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from College of Engineering (Guindy), Anna University, Madras. He received his Ph.D. in Operations Management from Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

He has around 10 years of teaching experience and has taught at the undergraduate, Postgraduate, PHD and Executive MBA level. He also has experience in teaching postgraduate courses in many countries including United States, India, France, Sweden and Denmark.

He has published more than 25 refereed journal articles. His primary research interests are in supply chain management, strategic sourcing, inter-organizational relationships, and sustainable supply chain management. Many of his papers are highly cited by research within supply chain management.

List of Awards:

  • Winner of the Institute for Supply Management's Doctoral Dissertation Grant in 2002 for his outstanding doctoral research in the field of supply chain management.
  • Recipient of the Doctoral Dissertation Research Award and Dean's Outstanding Achievement Award at Cleveland State University.
  • 2007 JPSM Best Paper Award and 2004 JOM Best Paper Finalist Award.
