The Centres of Excellence facilitate research, exchange of ideas, solutions to industry problems and offer guidance to future decision makers.

Kotler Srinivasan
Center for Research in
Marketing

Named after Dr. Seenu V Srinivasan, the Adams Distinguished Professor of Management and Director of the Strategic Marketing Management Executive Program, Stanford Graduate School of Business, Stanford, California, USA and Dr. Philip Kotler, the Marketing Guru, this center aims to address and enhance marketing based research in India.

Technopreneurship [CET]

The center aims to nurture and encourage the development of budding entrepreneurs in the technology space.

Union Bank Centre for
Banking Excellence

The center would be headed by an eminent and distinguished full-time Professor, who will occupy the Chair created, and will lead the Research and Learning programme initiatives in the Banking, Financial Services & Insurance Industries.

Great Lakes Centre For
Management Research

This center aims to promote, facilitate and advance India-centric management related research, which contributes to the development of basic and applied knowledge in the field of management. The center will be a bridge that links scholars around the globe with India as a common interest.

Centre For Excellence in
Retail Management

The objective of the center for excellence is to provide best world class practices and to facilitate research, exchange of ideas, solutions to industry problems and offer guidance to leaders and managers as well as key policy makers. The aim of the center is to help organizations' leaders and managers as well as policy makers to identify, understand, assess, and leverage the changing dynamics of Indian retailing and consumers to their advantage.

Business Analytics and
Business Intelligence

The Centre aims to blend conceptual framework of analytics with business relevance. The Centre has also launched an one year Post Graduate Program in Business Analytics and Business Intelligence (PGP-BABI) for working executives which paves way for decision making in the midst of big data that bewilders business managers by its sheer size and complexity.

Centre for Sports
Management & Analytics

Over recent years, the field of Sports Management & Analytics has grown in popularity and importance. Using Sports Analytics, data and statistics are used to make decisions in areas such as player/team performance, player health/nutrition and fan experience. Sports Management goes beyond reporting statistics. It is about synthesizing collected data into meaningful and actionable information that can impact decisions made in the sports industry – a business with an estimated size of $1.5 Trillion globally in 2018 (Plunkett Research).1st August 2020 marked a historic day for us, here at Great Lakes Institute of Management. In the presence of Rahul Dravid (Former Indian Cricket Captain), N Srinivasan (Vice Chairman & MD India Cements and Former Chairman - International Cricket Council), Sundar Raman (Former COO, IPL) and Prof. Wayne Winston (Professor at the University of Houston) we launched a Centre for Sports Management & Analytics.
